OU, AU, or OC? OU
If canon, canon point: Post-movie
PB: N/A
Superhero Name: Sticking with his own name, thank you very much.
History: RotG wiki
Additional OC and AU Background: N/A
Personality: Jack is, as a whole, the ultimate big brother figure. In the brief moments that we see of his life as a human, he cared for and entertained his little sister, sometimes playing tricks but never in a mean-spirited way. He died while saving her, and after becoming Jack Frost he keeps up this attitude with children everywhere for 300 years, even before remembering he'd ever had a sister at all. He's playful and encourages fun for all, and like most older brothers, his methods can be a bit rougher than what a parent would condone (such as directing a kid on a sled through busy streets), but he watches out for those he cares for and he wouldn't ever let them be hurt if he has anything to say about it.
He's also an eternal teenager, quite literally. Jack can be irresponsible and sarcastic, and he'd rather fly around causing trouble and hanging out with the kids of the world than hole up somewhere to do his work like the other Guardians tend towards. He's come to appreciate what the Guardians do by this point and he readily agreed to join them officially, but he's much more about having fun than working hard, and he'd never be content if he couldn't actually get out there and interact with the children he's supposed to be protecting. He's often unapologetic about the trouble he causes, like the infamous blizzard on Easter Sunday in 1968 that ruined Bunny's egg hunt, and while never quite going so far as to be called "cruel", some of his pranks are a lot less funny to those who fall victim to them (adults who slip on his ice, for instance, or kids whose tongues he freezes to a water fountain).
After 300 years of being invisible to most of the world, Jack delights in attention of any kind. He's prone to talking to himself, and when he starts something (for better or worse, be it a snowball fight that everyone enjoys, or knocking a kid's tooth out) he wants to get credit for it. He's competitive and doesn't like being ignored, and to those without much patience, he can get tiresome really quickly. Jack is absolutely a dumb, stubborn boy of the most typical kind, acting like he'd preferred being on his own when in front of others and hiding away after Sandman's apparent death rather than mourning with the others. Really, he's more sensitive than he likes to let on, and being alone and ignored for all those centuries had him begging for answers and desperate to be noticed. Pitch tried to take advantage of this and bring Jack over to his side, and it was only Jack's desire to be loved rather than feared that made him refuse.
Overall, Jack is a fairly classic anti-hero -- his attitude and methods don't always make him seem very heroic, but at heart he is truly a nice guy with good intentions.
Canon Powers: Crazy winter magic. He is literally the embodiment of winter and can do everything from forming a snowball in his hand to causing huge blizzards and pillars of ice, as well as fly around with the help of the wind. He also has his "fun magic", where he pretty much bewitches people into having a good time even if they'd been in a negative mood.
Game powers: Going with the 3 part powerset for Jack!
1. Ice manipulation - Nerfed somewhat from his canon potential, no huge snowstorms or anything but he can create and manipulate ice and snow.
2. Wind affinity - He can't necessarily control the wind, especially not in any manner that could be utilized offensively, but he can get it to carry him around, and maybe it'll cushion other people who'd otherwise fall to their deaths if he asks it nicely.
3. Fun shenanigans - A weak and highly specific form of emotional influence, he can nudge people into a more positive, playful, and good-humored mood with a well-aimed snowball or snowflake to the face.
Abilities: Being a spirit, he's doesn't age (though he can still be hut and/or killed). He also has crazy amazing balance and probably some sort of variable weight thing going on, what with his ability to crouch on his staff and get carried around by the wind and all that. Also due to the nature of what he is, extreme cold doesn't bother him at all (though he's sensitive to heat). Besides that supernatural stuff, he knows how to fight with his staff in a style that's kinda like parkour mixed with kendo.
Setting: On one hand, he'll be a bit antsy over having been yanked away from home so soon after becoming an official Guardian because wow, okay, he didn't mean to abandon his post but clearly the universe is intent on keeping up his irresponsible image. But on the other hand, space is super cool and this is the most novel thing he's experienced in 300 years, and he's literally the Guardian of Fun so how can he not enjoy this at least a little? He'll be a bit suspicious at first and probably won't join up officially immediately, but he'll be quick to help out when there's actual trouble and will probably sign on with the Legion eventually.

Your character is with the team at a fancy diplomatic party and a UP dignitary (Coluan, naturally, because man, that whole planet seems to be chock fill of arrogant dicks) has called into question the character's ability to be a Legionnaire and whether or not they, some weirdo interdimensional stranger, have the personal character to help protect the United Planets. How do they respond?
The temptation to flick a fun-infused snowflake this guy's way and get him to lighten up a little was pretty strong. But the temptation to just roll his eyes and snark heavily was much stronger, and unsurprisingly, Jack went with option number two.
"Right, because someone like you is so much more capable of protecting people due to being a native." He looked the Coulan up and down, expression faux-thoughtful and voice heady with sarcasm. "I mean, I haven't seen you out there helping kittens out of trees or anything, but I assume you must be doing some superhero-ing on the sly if you're criticizing our ability to handle this stuff."
Who let Jack Frost interact with the dignitaries? This was a terrible idea, but he's already going and there's no stopping him now.
"Anyway, we can handle it. Some of us were at this whole hero bit long before showing up here." He patted the guy on the shoulder as he unceremoniously brushed past him, and while Jack's grin was bright, his touch was ice cold. "But hey, if you wanna join up, I guess I can put in a good word for you. Don't think you'd look too great in spandex, though."

Welcome to the Legion, rookie. As a way of helping your character cope with their circumstances and have an optimistic outlook towards the future, the existing Legionnaires want them to record a message to their future self with their thoughts on their current situation, what they hope to accomplish in their time with the Legion, and the first thing they want to do when they get sent safely home or to the dimension of their choice.
[A lot of this future technology is cool, but the communicator thing isn't really anything special. Jack lived through the rise of Skype and the smartphone, and he's watched plenty of people fussing with their various devices. There's no special care or ceremony given to this little recording they want him to make. He just props the thing up and leans heavily on his staff, frowning as he tries to think of answers.
Funny, this was supposed to be a "coping tool", but it felt a lot like homework. Bleh.]
Hi, future self. [Deadpan as a dead kid could get.] Hope you're doing well. I'm pretty good right now, aside from the whole "kidnapped to another universe" thing. Space is cool. With any luck, you're already back home, or at least making a name for us and giving the alien kids lots of snow days.
[That sounded pretty fun, actually. He brightens up a little just thinking about it, and files that thought away for future use. Do alien kids like snow? Sounds like he needs to experiment.]
Anyway. First thing I'm doing when I get home is check in with the others, because I bet you anything Bunny's already throwing a fit over me disappearing and "abandoning my duties" or whatever they think I've done this time. It'd be nice to rub it in his furry face that I have a legitimate excuse this time.
[Because "kidnapped to another universe" is a pretty good one as far as excuses for not showing up for work go.]
Additional info: He'll have his staff with him upon arrival, which is more just a regular staff at this point since he realized that his magic was ~inside him all along~ but still. It's comforting to hold on to.
